Request by HMRC to launch both boats on report of several emergency calls regarding a person on a kayak (possibly inflatable) in difficulty off Leven beach near to caravan park.
Both boats arrived on scene and conducted multiple shore lone searches, nothing found and stood down by HMCG
Returned to Anstruther & re-housed

Request from HMCG to launch ILB and assist an injured female with suspected fractured ankle having fallen at the Chain Walk near Elie.
 
ILB launched
 
Casualty located with Coastguard team on scene, the basket stretcher was transferred from Kinghorn Lifeboat also on scene and used to transferred the casualty from the Chain Walk to the Ambulance waiting at near by beach location.
 
ILB then assisted the Coastguard members and casualty partner to the safety of the beach location.
 
ILB retuned to station and rehoused

Request from the skipper of a vessel to assist him pump out water, that was being taken on while moored to the quay wall adjacent to the Lifeboat Station.
Coxswain transferred the station salvage pump to the casualty vessel, the water was pumped out and ingress stopped, with no pollution or environmental impact.
Pump returned to station.

HMCG request launch of both boats to report of upturned Kayak off Cellardyke harbour, ILB on scene as casualty made it to shore, vessel towed to harbour. Casualty did not require any further assistance.
ALB mustered crew but did not launch.

Request from HMCG to locate and assist two casualties reported to be in difficulty with a Kayak and a paddle board off Elie, ILB first on scene established that they were both snorkelling and in no difficulty.
 
Lifeboats stood down and returned to rehouse

Request to launch both boats to report of two persons falling from the coastal path between Pittenweem & St Monans, ILB first on scene to find male & female on the rocks with serious injuries. One crewman was transferred from the ALB to assist ILB
The female was lifted by Coastguard helicopter to Edinburgh hospital and male transferred back up to awaiting Ambulance and Ninewells hospital. The lifeboats were stood down along with the other emergency services on scene. ALB was moored in Pittenweem and crew recalled to rehouse later

ILB requested to launch to assist pleasure craft with propeller fanned up close to the harbour entrance and unable to move.
 
ILB low water launch and towed the stricken vessel back into Anstruther Harbour and safely moored it up to the west pier.
 
ILB then rehoused.

On arrival the ILB crew found that no assistance was required and returned to station and re-housed

Immediate launch of both boats requested by HMCG on report of two persons in difficulty hanging on to Kayaks off Shell Bay near Elie,.
 
Both boats launched and while transiting were informed that the casualties had made their own way back to the shore and no further assistance required.
 
Lifeboats stood down and returned to Anstruther, the ALB having to tie up at the end of the west pier and wait for the tide to rehouse.
