Anstruther is home to one of the UK’s busiest waterways. We are looking forward to enhancing our service when a new Shannon lifeboat arrives on station. But, it won’t fit in our existing boathouse!
Your kindness today could really help to give people the best chance of survival! By helping to fund a new, purpose-built lifeboat station it will boost lifesaving at sea in this area for generations to come. Find out more here CHAINWALK SAFETY INFORMATION- Please Click Here |

Anstruther’s new Shannon-class lifeboat is ready and will arrive home this year! RNLB Robert and Catherine Steen was built at the All-weather Lifeboat Centre in Poole last year and will remain in situ until the Spring. The names of your loved ones have been added to the hull and we can’t wait to welcome you to visit as soon as we’re able to do so. Our volunteers have many weeks of hard work ahead as we prepare for her arrival, and we ask for your patience and cooperation during this time. Stay tuned for more information in the new year.
