No 06 & 07/2016 06/04/16 13:42 – 15:40 ILB & ALB Request from Aberdeen Coastguard to assist injured female walker on a remote section of the coastal path with her husband, children and dog. ILB arrived on scene first and beached close to the casualty location, now joined at the scene by a paramedic (a member of the Lifeboat shore crew) who administered the first aid required. The RNLI crew transferred the basket stretcher from the ALB waiting off shore and used it to stabilise and transfer the casualty onto the ILB and then to the ambulance waiting at St Monans harbour. | Click on any picture to enlarge |
Other member of the family and dog were taken by the ALB into St Monans harbour.
