| Request from Aberdeen Coastguard to assist a passenger vessel with 99 people aboard berthed at the Isle of May in the Firth of Forth. ALB arrived at the casualty to reports of possible rudder problems. Preparation were made for a tow out of the Isle of May harbour and into open water, assisted by the ILB. Clear of the harbour the casualty vessel made its own way, escorted back to Anstruther, where assistance was again given to safely berth the vessel and all passengers safely landed.
