Motor Vessel In Fog With Engine Failure

Request from Aberdeen Coastguard, to assist those on-board a Power boat with mechanical problems off St Monans and stranded in the fog. ALB & ILB launched, using direction finding equipment to locate the casualty, with two adults & two children aboard.
ILB took the casualty under tow to St Monans, while the two children were transferred to the ALB for warmth. All were safely landed in St Monans and both boats returned to Anstruther to rehouse.
