Request by HMCG to assist with other assets to locate and assist at the location of an Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB) alarm approximately 1.5mile east of the Isle of May. All assets searched the location including helicopter R199.
Nothing found ALB returned to station at low tide crew recalled to rehouse later

Request to launch both boats to locate and assist a female paddleboarder being blown out to sea from Cambo Sands following multiple 999 calls.
ILB on scene first and managed to locate the casualty in the water alongside the paddle board.
R199 helicopter was stood down just as arriving on scene.
Casualty taken on board the ILB and transferred to the ALB for further assistance and the return to Anstruther for handover to the ambulance at Anstruther harbour.

HMCG requested both boats launch to assist with search for unknown size or location of yacht following weak distress message received from a vessel broken down.
Message only picked up on Fifeness aerial.
Both boats launched and searched from Anstruther to Cambo Sands, nothing found, both boats stood down and returned to station.

ILB launched, located the vessel and took it in tow safely back to its berth within the harbour. No further assistance required.

Request from HMCG to locate and assist 36' Fishing Vessel with engine problems drifting with 3 persons onboard.
ALB located the casualty and towed it to Pittenweem Harbour where it was safely berthed. ILB launched to assist the ALB and casualty vessel entering the harbour.
 
ILB returned to rehouse.

Tasked by HMCG to launch ALB to assist Police Scotland to locate a high risk person (male 34 in the water off East Weymss.
Kinghorn lifeboat also tasked to the incident along with Rescue 199 helicopter.
ALB carried out parallel search but nothing found, All units stood down.
ALB made warm refreshments for Kinghorn lifeboat crew before their passage back to station, then returned to Anstruther and tied up until rehoused at 1000hrs.
