Requested by HMCG to search off Ellie for reported paddle board drifting out to sea.
Lifeboat on scene and conducted parallel search though nothing found and stood down by the Coastguard - False alarm with good intent
Lifeboat returned to Anstruther, tied up and crew recalled later to rehouse.
Coastguard subsequently found an 8' log washed up near to the reported location
