Request from HMCG to search for and locate ' man over board' as reported by first informant on the coast, The ILB located the casualty vessel and made contact with the person on board, everyone safe & well, no assistance required.
ILB returned to station FAWGI.

Requested by HMCG to search off Ellie for reported paddle board drifting out to sea.
 
Lifeboat on scene and conducted parallel search though nothing found and stood down by the Coastguard - False alarm with good intent
 
Lifeboat returned to Anstruther, tied up and crew recalled later to rehouse.
 
Coastguard subsequently found an 8' log washed up near to the reported location

Request from HMCG to locate and assist persons in the water off Elie trying to rescue a dog.
 
ILB launched and stood down by Coastguard just outside the harbour.
 
ALB crew had mustered and were boarding the lifeboat and about to launch, when cancelled by Coastguard.

Request from Coastguard to located and assist a 16 foot vessel off Pittenweem with mechanical problems, 3 persons onboard, anchor was away and having limited comms with intermittent handheld VHF.
 
The vessel was not near the original location given and eventually spotted close to rocks off Cellardyke.
 
ALB transferred one crew member across with hand held VHF and survivors lifejackets for the occupants.
A tow was established and casualty vessel towed safely into Anstruther harbour and berthed.
 
ALB tied up at West Pier and rehoused later in the morning when tide conditions allowed

Request from HMCG to locate and assist two female paddle boarders in the water two miles off Kingsbarns beach, having become separated from the one board both were in the water holding on to one remaining paddleboard.
 
Both boats launched with ILB arriving on scene first, locating the casualties, taking them on board and returning them and the one paddle board to the beach.
 
ALB stood down at Fifeness on-route

Request from HMRC following initial call to the Lifeboat Station by first informant reporting persons in the water off Elie and in need of assistance.
ILB initial requested with ALB also launching because of the prevailing weather conditions.
 
Both lifeboats searching on scene, Coastguard confirming with the first informant the location of the object seen was fishing gear related and not persons in distress.
Both lifeboats stood down and returned to Anstruther.
 
Crew recalled to rehouse the ALB because of tidal limitations
