ALB DNL (Did Not Launch)
 
Request from HMCG to launch ALB to assist search for overdue / missing windsurfer across the Firth of Forth at Longniddry.
 
Casualty was located by HMCG CRT on scene with Kinghorn Lifeboat searching.
 
ALB crew mustered and making ready for launch when cancelled by Coastguard via pager and confirmed by landline call.

Request from HMCG to assist North Berwick ILB with casualties on a RIB. Launched cancelled by Coastguard shortly after the page alert, on report of all safe & well with the craft beached.

ILB DNL (Did Not Launch)

Tasked by HMCG to a person self-harming on the pier at Anstruther.
 
ILB requested to launch then hold back as the person had knife injuries and potentially carrying a weapon, the crew remained on immediate readiness on the slipway in case they were required.
 
The police talked down the casualty and took him into custody.
