Request from HMCG to locate an empty kayak of St Monans harbour and establish if anybody was in danger.
ALB arrived on scene as the Kayak was being washed ashore and recovered by Coastguard team. ALB requested to conduct a search the coast line ¼ mile off within the vicinity and then ½ mile off.
With nothing found the ALB was stood down and returned to Anstruther where it moored afloat awaiting tide to rehouse, crew recalled after two hours.
