Request from Aberdeen Coastguard to assist a multi-agency effort to re-float a Minke Whale beached near Largo Bay.
ALB provided stable communications base with searchlight and pyros to support divers.
Working with the ILB to help the specialist support teams save the whale.

Request from Aberdeen Coastguard to assist a small creel vessel with steering problems off Fife Ness with one person on board.
ALB launched and located the casualty, transferred crew and made tow safely back to Anstruther harbour.
