Become a million-step Water Wise Walker
Use your own personal step counter to record how many steps you do each day and hopefully you can reach one million by 21st June 2021!
This may seem an impossible target but, if you started the challenge on 1st February, your daily goal is just over 7,000 steps each day – very achievable!
There is no entry fee and no prizes for reaching the target, this is for personal pride! All we would ask is that you visit our RNLI website (Link below) and review the advice on how to stay safe in and near water.
This will provide useful information on Water Safety, which may help you to stay safe during your walks near the coast!
Please spread the word and hopefully we’ll get lots of you keeping fit and learning how to stay safe near water
Become a Water Wise Walker super hero today!
If you would like to take part in the 1 million steps by Mid-Summer, please read the water safety advice at the link below,
register your name if you wish (this is optional)
Please note this is a fun personal challenge and the RNLI does not accept any liability for participants undertaking this challenge.
If you are unsure as to your physical ability to take part, then please seek medical advice
IF YOU DO SEE ANY WATER SAFETY ISSUES, THEN DIAL 999 AND ASK FOR THE COASTGUARD
