ILB & ALB
 
Both boats tasked by HMCG to locate a family of four at the chain walk. ILB on scene first and able to locate and rescue a female casualty, not able to proceed from MacDuff cave on the chainwalk near Elie.
ALB stood by communicating with Loud Hailer to the casualty.
Cold & in shock with both wrists injured the casualty was taken aboard the ILB then transferred to ALB. Other member of the family were able to continue.
ALB transferred the casually to waiting ambulance at Elie harbour.
Both boats returned to Anstruther

On report of two young people swimming off Portabello beach, then shouts for help were heard, HMCG tasked Queensferry Lifeboat, Anstruther ALB and helicopter R199 to search the area.
Nothing found and ALB stood down by HMCG and returned to Anstruther to  rehouse
Casualties reported safe and well

Tasked by HMCG on report of a person on a black paddle board of North Berwick in difficulties. ALB tasked to start a wide ranging search pattern with North Berwick Lifeboat searching inshore. Coastguard on shore search.
Nothing found during the search and ALB stood down by HMCG at 2300.
Returned to Anstruther, crew recalled at 0100 to rehouse

ALB tasked by HMCG to search for & rescue a suspected person in the water off Kingsbarn's beach. Coastguard team on scene and helicopter also tasked to the location.
ALB on scene with helicopter and completed search patterns with nothing found only floating bin bag & creel end debris.
False alarm with good intent.
 
ALB stood down and returned to Anstruther to rehouse

Tasked by HMCG to assist search and rescue of a person reported to be in the water off St Andrews.
Arbroath Lifeboat and helicopter R199 had also been tasked. ALB launched and arrived on scene as helicopter located and rescued the casualty.
ALB stood down and returned to the station to rehouse.

Request from HMCG to launch and proceed to St Andrews harbour to assist Arbroath ILB & Broughty Ferry ILB along with Rescue 851 in search for missing person after the discovery of a pile of clothes & mobile phone at the end of the pier.
ALB launched and was stood down on-route following the recovery of the casualty deceased following self-harm and immersion for an unknown time
ALB rehoused on return to the station

Request from HMCG to launch and proceed to Elie bay on report of a paddle boarder in difficulty. ILB on planned exercise and changes course to Elie, the paddle boarder was located not far from the shore and safely in control and no assistance required.

Request by HMCG to launch both boats to locate and assist two persons on the Chainwalk near Elie .
Two female casualties located, one with an injured shoulder and unable to climb the chains or move to a safe location. Both German but daughter speaking English. Both were evacuated to ILB  and transferred to the ALB for passage to Elie harbour and waiting Coastguard personnel, where they were checked over by an off-duty physiotherapist.

Immediate launch of ALB pager activated by HMCG as a means of quickly alerting RNLI personnel in the lifeboat station to a medical emergency that occurred onboard the Scottish Fisheries Museum (SFM) historic vessel, Reaper, which was moored on the Middle Pier Anstruther Harbour, directly opposite the lifeboat station.
 
A member of the Reaper crew has suffered a suspected cardiac incident onboard, below decks and was receiving CPR from some of his elderly SFM colleagues. East Neuk First Responder, already on scene, along with 4 x RNLI crew took over CPR and airway management for over an hour. Air Ambulance and NHS SORT team arrived on scene with Lucas machine, whilst RNLI Crew assisted with fluids and evacuating casualty to land ambulance for onward transport to awaiting Air Ambulance. Additional responding RNLI crew provided a cordon around the incident and supported family of the casualty.
