Request from HMCG to locate and assist female reported to be in the water off Dysart. Kinghorn Lifeboat & Rescue 199 also tasked.
Just after arrival Rescue 199 located casualty conscious and breathing, casualty air lifted to hospital.
ALB rendezvous with Kinghorn LB to provide crew with warm drinks before returning to station.

Report of female in water at Celladyke Harbour

ILB launched at request of HMCG to locate & assist a female in the water adjacent to Cellardyke harbour.
ILB arrived on scene and found a female lying on the harbour being worked on by members of the public. CPR had been given. Women regained consciousness and ILB crew assisted.
 
Ambulance crew arrived and took over from RNLI crew. Casualty was conscious and remained so.
ILB and crew returned to station and equipment replenished. Debrief with cas care team led Cox & Doctor. HMCG notified

Launch to assist missing swimmer at Portobello Beach

Whilst recovering the ALB and incident was heard to be unfolding at Portobello beach, an overdue swimmer reported as missing. ALB requested to stand by on beach until they check if assistance is required. ALB tasked to launch and proceed at best speed to Portobello to assist Kinghorn LB and Rescue 199 to search for missing swimmer. Whilst on route new information became available and all units were stood down. Kinghorn & 199 had began searching and HMCG were preparing search instructions for ALB. ALB returned to harbour and shore crew recalled to assist with the recovery.

Request from HMCG to launch to locate female stuck on chain walk, exact location unknown. Two 6-8 year old girls told a member of the public that their mother was stuck on chainwalk.
Children appeared to be distressed according to member of the public. CRT's and police attending.
Search carried out from Elie golf course to Ruddons point by ALB & ILB, Costal path walkers asked by Lifeboat crew of any sighting with no confirmations, and nothing found.
Before being stood down the ALB was tasked to North Berwick to assist the North Berwick ILB located and assist two persons on paddle boards, drifting out to sea the east side of Milsay Bay with location ETA approximately 17 min. ALB headed to location but stood down on route as casualties reported safe. ALB re-tasked to previous tasking before being stood down on arrival. ALB & ILB returned to station and crew recalled for recovery.

Request from HMCG to proceed to Clackmananshire Bridge to locate and assist a person in the water. Kinghorn and Queensferry LB both off service.
Distance to casualty 36 miles, ETA 1hr 20min. ALB stood down on route on report that the person was safe and returned to station and recovery on entering the harbour

ALB travelling 19nm to conduct shore line search.
 
Nothing found, Lifeboat returned to Anstruther and shore crew recalled to assist rehousing

ALB stood down on-route as the object was identified as a floating mattress.

Search conducted towards Methil and Largo Bay following report of red flares

ALB (Shannon Class)
 
ALB tasked by Aberdeen Coastguard to break off excise and head towards Methil / Largo Bay to conduct a search following a 999 report of red flares sighted by a member of the public.
ALB arrived on scene and carried out a Shore Line search followed by Creeping Line Ahead search.
ALB also utilised Fishing Vessel responding to the Mayday request. ALB provided search instructions for the FV.
Search area completed and nothing found, ALB returned to Anstruther to lye afloat until 0630hrs for rehousing because of the tide level
