Request to assist a person who had jumped off the West pier Anstruther - possible self harm.
ILB launched and quickly on scene to assist a member of the public helping casualty onto the rocks. ILB evacuated the casualty on a stretcher to the steps at the back of the pier and waiting ambulance.
Casualty handed over to Ambulance crew, ILB returned to station and rehoused.

Assistance to person with fractured ankle at Ruddons Point

ILB & ALB
 
Lifeboats requested by Coastguard to launch and assist a person who had fallen from the coastal path at Ruddons Point and sustained an open fracture of the right ankle.
Rescue 199 also tasked.
Both boats launched, ILB first on scene and put crew on shore to assist.
ALB stood by and transferred crew to assist on shore.
Coastguard & paramedics attended scene and packaged up the casualty. Casualty was air lifted from the scene by 199 and transported to land ambulance via nearby alternative landing site prepped by HMCG.
Both Lifeboats stood down and returned to station.
