RNLI Crewman contacted the Coastguard as a yacht had run aground in the harbour mouth while the Shannon lifeboat was returning from exercise.
Launch Authority and Coastguard agreed to launch ILB and assist with connecting the anchor rope to the west pier and await re-float on the tide.
Two persons onboard happy to remain there with no danger to life.
Shannon rehoused and ILB returned to rehouse.

Request from HMCG to assist a vessel broken down and anchored off the Anstruther harbour with two persons onboard.
ILB located the casualty and safely towed it into the harbour and berthed.
ILB rehoused
