Request from Aberdeen Coastguard to assist two people in a small open boat with engine problems.
The two casualties had been line fishing off the Isle of May; an anchor had been deployed about 100 yds off the rocks as the sea state was deteriorating.
Their auxiliary outboard engine was not able to cope with the conditions.
ALB located the casualty vessel, took the two crew on board the lifeboat and safely towed the vessel back to Anstruther harbour.
