35 brave - or mad - volunteers swam across the mouth of the Anstruther inner harbour on Boxing Day in the 13th Annual Charity "dook" (translation 'dunking'). In cold, windy contitions and dressed in an assortment of swimwear, including male bikinis, the volunteers performed under the watchful eyes of the ILB crew exercising in the harbour.
Barry Gourlay, Anstruther senior helm, has completed all 13 dooks.
The event raised thousands of pounds for the Heart, Chest & Stroke Charity.
